GABRIELLE’S ANGELS FOUNDATION 26TH ANNUAL‘ANGEL BALL GALA’
Total Management Group collaborated once again with legacy client Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation, to produce the 26th annual Angel Ball Gala. 650 distinguished guests arrived at Cipriani Wall Street, turning lower Manhattan into a philanthropic hub spot, for an evening that honours outstanding individuals who have made significant humanitarian and philanthropic contributions in support of cancer research.
The highlight of New York’s social season started with a beautiful cocktail reception, with passed canapes and a chance to view Silent Auction items from a range of artists, jewels from Lorraine Schwartz, the Four Seasons Resort Mexico and Enrique Cabrera’s limited-edition sculpture, ‘The Golden Apple’ to name a few. Denise Rich, President and Co-Founder of the Foundation, opened the evening welcoming guests and lead the room in a touching moment of silence. After a few poignant moments shared Philathropists, cancer survivor stories and the astounding work of the Charity and its direct impact on patients, Broadway sensation Adrienne Warren performed ‘The Impossible Dream’. DJ Mad Marj, picked up the pace and Busta Rhymes rounded off the evening, entertaining the dancefloor with his classics.
Over $3million was raised in support of the Foundation, and their mission to aid researchers find a cure for cancer, with approximately $43million total raised since launching the Foundation in 1996.
Total Management, spearheaded by Jessica Angioni, conceptualised the theming, stage design and decor of this year’s Gala, creating a bespoke diamond stage backdrop for the live performances and notable presenters such as Lucien Laviscount and Star Jones. In addition, we worked closely with the sponsors of this year’s event, curating and building a unique photobooth by Valmont and prominent car display purposely placed at the end of the red carpet for Dennis & Co. for guest and VIP photos. The TM G team collaborated with all parties from security, production and PR, managing a tight guestlist and entry process to ensure a seamless experience for all guests and flawless event production.
